We arrive in Phoenix pretty exhausted, and even though it's 10pm local time it feels like it's midnight. Got some food, got back to the hotel, got some sleep. Some, being the operative word there.
I felt the need to wake up at 5:30 in the morning, put on some comfortable climbing shoes and sunblock, and go for a hike up Camelback Mountain a few minutes from downtown.
Worth it.
We went to the D-Backs game, saw a bunch of home runs, walked through Phoenix, drove through Scottsdale, went to three different bars/ restaurants in Tempe, watched Orlando continue their collapse and then collapsed ourselves, resigned to getting some sleep before driving to Santa Fe, New Mexico tomorrow morning. I'm probably going to go for another hike tomorrow before we leave. I love it here.
