A day in DC

We're in Potomac, Maryland right now, hanging out at my friend Matt's house, where we're spending the next couple nights.  We spent most of the day in DC - we drove around a bit, visited the National Portrait Gallery, and spent too much time trying to find parking.  We also got an undeserved parking ticket for parking at a broken meter.  Matt, in his infinite ability to annoy the DC government, is going to challenge it for us (surprised?).  Luckily, we can leave the car up at Matt's for the rest of our stay in the DC area, and just use the Metro to get around

Tonight, we're having a barbeque dinner up here, and tomorrow we head back into DC for the Nationals game.
